What is the percentage of body fat?
Body fat percentage is the weight ratio in your body that contains fat tissue.

Example: 30% body fat with 155 pounds of female, fat tissue is 46.5 pounds. The remaining 108.5 pounds make up their body weight muscles, bones, nerves, skin and other tissues.
Body fat usually depends on your fitness level and it can be a better indicator of your health than your BMI.


Thus, the American Council on Exercise takes the fitness of men and women's body fat at the fitness level.

While calculating macros for many reasons, measuring and tracking the percentage of body fat is common.


It is important to know the percentage of your body's fat when making accurate TDE (daily energy consumption). Most standard formulas are considered "average" body fat percentage. Therefore, if you use the default BDEE formula, people with a high BF percentage or fewer BF percentages will lose results. To be very fit with obesity, special calculations are necessary.
Most flexible foods have the goal of reducing their fat content and increasing muscle mass. Tracking BF percentage changes is a great way to track progress.
Knowing the body fat percentage of your body, you can count the amount of fat in your body. It helps you set a real and healthy target weight.

What about electronic devices?
The proportion of electronic body fat machines has become very popular, but I have found that it is very incompatible and inaccurate. Do not worry using screws with BF% in these handheld devices.


Some gyms have bridge bridges and are probably the most accurate to measure BF% electronically. Using a caliper with a skinfold method is a great option and gives you a better estimate.

Body fat is healthy
The body is healthy because it contains fat, and the body actually needs fatty tissue to control hormone production and body temperature. Very low BF% leads to health risks.

Very few BFs in men in the IIFYM community There is a sharp tendency to reach the percentage, where the skin is so low in fat that almost every muscle tumor is visible.

It is not permanent or healthy. In fact, friends should try less than 5% and 13% of women should work better on their body.
